Hero Replaced by Goblin Changeling in the Middle of the Book
I liked the first half of this book but not the second half. The hero and heroine develop such a nice, believable bond of friendship and blossoming love early on, and then the hero ruined it by becoming a totally different person. Seriously, it's like he was kidnapped and replaced by a goblin changeling 2/3rds of the way through the book. At first, he's sensitive, observant, thoughtful, confident, appealing, sexy... And then he becomes manipulative, secretive, selfish, insecure, distant, and almost too stupid to live. Very disappointing!
